Ben Franklin has once said – “Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise”. Such great benefits of waking up early summarized in one crisp sentence.
When we categorize people on the basis of their waking patterns, we have got two extreme kinds. The first category is that of night owls. They sleep late at night and thus wake up late the next morning and the pattern continues. It is generally assumed that these are the ones who enjoy life. On the other hand, there are the early risers i.e. those who have got a habit of waking up early in the morning.

Early exercise benefits
If you are an early riser then it is obvious that you will get a good time span to do exercises. Early morning exercises make you feel fresh, energetic and enthusiastic. It provides physical as well as mental strength. But if you will try doing exercise during evening or night hours you will not be able to get the best out of it. Research carried out in Japan also concluded that if you want to lose weight then it is recommended to exercise before breakfast. It also helps to reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes.
Early morning benefits as a fresh start
Getting up early in the morning is a really very good experience. This is the time when you will get to see the True color of nature. The cool breeze touches your body and gives you a chill feeling, you can see the birds flying high up in the sky and chirping all along and a soothing morning smells blows your mind.
Early raising results in better sleeping quality
Going to bed early helps in optimizing your sleep quality. Don’t give your body much stress. Whenever you feel tired at night just go to sleep but make sure to set up a Target to get up early in the morning. Researches proved that going to bed from 9 pm to 12 am, the quality of sleep is double the sleeping hours.
However, sleeping from 12 am to 2 am the quality of sleep is equal to the number of sleeping hours. On the other hand, sleeping after 2 am; you will only benefit half the number of sleeping hours. And in order to reach that, you must wake up early morning, so that your body automatically shut down at 9 – 10 pm maximum.
Early wake up results in a better mental health
One of the greatest benefits of waking up early is the mental health you achieve and maintain throughout the day. You can start your day with complete positivity and your head will remain focused on every job that you do throughout the day. Your working capability, speed, accuracy, and efficiency will be boosted Up and you will be able to take the right decision at the right time.
Christoph Randler, a biologist from Harvard University found that “people who are early risers understand their daily issues in a much better way”.
In 2008 a research was conducted by Texas University which concluded that early riser students achieved high score than the night owls.
Thus, do not underestimate the idea of waking up early. Because your day will go more smoothly and happily than if you wake up late.
